![]() When you are being shot at it is a good idea to strafe left and right. Jump up and down. The enemy has a harder time aiming at you. It looks weird but works great. When the battle is too difficult, run away. Sometimes the battles get too intense and you need to regroup. It’s not cowardly, its smart. DON'T CHARGE AT THE ENEMY! Many people complain to me that they always die when they run towards the enemy. Well duh! Try shooting at the enemy as far away as the gun's range goes. The farther you are, the harder time the enemy has aiming at you. Remember strafe too! NEVER use sniper rifles in close combat; unless you are as good as me. Some people insist on using sniper rifles like M1 Garands and take them into close combat. Sniper rifles shoot slowly and take a long time to reload. Remember, snipers are for long rang. Instead, use a Thompson or a BAR. If you are going to kill an MG42 guard in single player, then take my advice. If you don't have sniper rifles yet, oh well. If you want to get rid of the light guards, then shoot the guards first! If you shoot out the light or miss the first time, they will most likely kill you. If an alarm rings, don't panic. If the alarm sounds, find a good hiding place. Usually you can shoot the running soldiers while they are rushing to the place of trouble. If possible, make your way to an alarm to shut it off, otherwise soldiers will keep coming and coming. If you panic, you will most likely die. In those disguise missions, don't reveal your identity. People have been frustrated at the disguise level in Trondheim. Why do they shoot me even though I have done nothing? Either you have your gun drawn, which you should have holstered, or you've been spotted by a soldier of high rank. Or maybe you stupidly fired a shot in the room on accident. Remember, if you are forced to hold out your gun, then get out your sub-machine gun. Using a pistol or rifle is just idiotic, considering that there are so many soldiers in there. Pick your fights carefully. You cannot win every single fight. If the soldiers are strong, and there are many, snipe from long range or just leave them alone. If soldiers are close together, go for it with a grenade or bazooka. Pick your fights carefully. |
